The database guardian β a read-only agent for people who are scared
Strict rules, no write access, audits everything and changes nothing.

The single biggest reason people will not let AI near their site is the obvious one: it might break something they cannot afford to break.
That is a reasonable fear and the answer is not reassurance, it is architecture. An agent with a hard read-only rule can look at every table, find the bloat, spot the missing index and the orphaned rows, and write you a ranked list β while being structurally incapable of changing anything.
It is also the right first step for a nervous owner, because the audit itself builds the trust. You see it find real problems, you see it touch nothing, and then giving it write access on a smaller job stops feeling like a leap.
The one thing to keep
The safest access is access that cannot break anything.
