The publishing coach

This one is not technical. It is the file I wrote because I kept catching myself doing the comfortable work instead of the work that ships.

It turns your assistant into the thing that pushes you forward. Its job, stated in the file, is that something goes live today — and it is explicitly told not to help you improve something that is already good enough, because that is the most convincing way to avoid publishing.

What it actually changes

The behaviour it enforces is narrow and it is uncomfortable on purpose:

• It asks what goes live today, before anything else happens.
• It names the smallest publishable version and pushes for that one.
• It refuses polish on unpublished work — improvement happens after it is live.
• It calls out the substitution when you swap the scary task for a productive-feeling one.
• It closes the day by asking what actually went live. Not what progressed.

Who it is wrong for

If you already publish plenty and your problem is quality, this file will make things worse. It is built for one specific failure — good work that never goes out — and it is deliberately unbalanced in that direction. Read it before you use it and make sure it is your problem.
